Horse-Craft Bell Boots
bell bootsDo you get tired of picking mud, sand and burrs out of the velcro on your horse neoprene bell boots? With pull-on rubber bell boots, you no longer have to worry about it. These rubber bell boots are the finest bell boots that you can buy. They are made from heavy-duty rubber with a smooth surface that is easy to clean and will not pick up stickers, burrs or grass. Simply hose them off and they are clean. With the pull-on style, you no longer have to worry about going anywhere without protective boots for your horse since these will stay on in mud and over rough terrain. These boots have a rolled edge on the top so that they will not rub your horse’s pasterns and will allow airflow to help the lower leg remain cool. There is a no-turn button that rests against the back of the pastern to keep the boots in position. They offer the only true full circumference protection around the entire hoof and heel bulb area without interfering with movement. These will be the last bell boots that you have to buy since they are extremely durable and are guaranteed for life. The velcro closure style is an alternative to the pull-on with the same durability and protection.
Putting on Pull-On Bell Boots

1. Stand next to the horse’s shoulder, face the back of the horse, and pick up the lower leg. Rest the horse’s knee against your thigh closest to the horse. Turn the bell boot inside out and put over the horse’s hoof with the cupped portion facing up toward the horse’s leg.
bell boots 2. Using both hands, stretch the rolled edge of the bell boot away from the hoof and pull the boot over the hoof while pushing the horse’s leg against your leg. Pull the bell boot over the heel bulbs and up to the pastern.
bell boots 3. Gently set the horse’s foot down and push the bell boot back down to the base of the pastern.
bell boots 4. With both hands, pull the edges facing upward down toward the horse hoof so that the bell boot is turned right side out and covers the horse's hoof.
bell boots 5. The bell boot should rest evenly over the horse's hoof.
Taking Off the Pull-On Bell Boots
Bell Boots 1. Facing the back of the horse, pick up the horse’s leg. While holding the leg up, turn around and stand at the withers facing the front of the horse. Place the toe of the hoof on your thigh and using both hands, place several fingers under the rolled edge of the boot and stretch it up away from the hoof.
Horse Bell Boots 2. Lift up on the bell boot and pull the boot up and over the horse's hoof, toward your leg while pushing the hoof against your leg.
Horse Bell Boots 3. Once the bell boot has been removed, gently set the horse's hoof down.
