David Isham,
This
note is long overdue, but the upside
to that
is, since I first was compelled
to write it last March more experiences
with your company have occurred that
I can include. Not to worry "it's
all good", as my students would say. With
that being said, I'd better write
it before more experiences happen
and this letter gets any longer than
it is going to be.
It
started out with us spending our
spring break in Texas. My
work aholic husband took his first
week off in 21 years of marriage. We
got the map out and started plotting
our journey. The only thing
definite was going to the GSTRC on
the 23rd and 24th. The first
part of the week was wide open. We
all watch and love RFD-TV. Well
NRS is advertised on just about everything,
and the service and products we have
received from catalog orders have
always been superb. I googled
your web-site and noticed you had
camping hook ups at your facility. We
have a living quarters in out horse
trailer, so we planned on camping
our way across Texas.
Diane
Gordon most helpful
in corresponding with us and quite
flexible on the dates of our arrival
etc. We were running late
on Monday and I called
Diane to make sure that it wouldn't
be a problem, she said that Krece
would be there to call his cell
phone when we got there. As
we pulled in the place it was packed......a roping
with Trevor Brazile and Walt Woodard,
granted we got there as it was almost
over, but what a thrill for my 14
year old son and my husband too! They said, " Momma
I thought there wasn't anything going
on?" OOOPS
Krece
was in the middle of the arena,
and my husband and son went over
to meet him and inquire about our
hook ups. We hooked up and
settled in. Wow, we're
actually in one of the coolest places
among famous ropers and everyone
was so down to Earth.
The
next morning we strolled through
the barn, lots of people bustling
about doing their morning chores. It
was at this point we met Jason and
Clint. Polite and friendly
young men. They were working
horses and allowed us to watch and
visited with us inbetween. They
all made us feel welcome and
like family.
We
headed out Wednesday for
Boerne. Thursday our neighbors
from Florida joined us. They
wanted to go out to Tyler Magnus'
place. We did and
Krece was there! He introduced
us to Tyler. Again, treating
us just like family.
It
gets better. Friday and
Saturday, who do we see again? Krece,
Clint and Jason roping in the GSTRC. What
a thrill.
While
we were at the NRS
Training Center we went to the store. My
husband loved it. A true tack
shop. Needless to say my son
and husband stocked up. Cody's
favorite purchase was the deluxe
rawhide steerhead by itself. He
decided that he needed the stand,
which we just recently purchased. We
ordered it and Tracy took our order,
but the neck didn't come with it,
figured it was my oops. Carla
took the call, and explained that
it should have come with the stand
and bag, and the young lady who took
the order was new, no charge...will
send asap...sincere apology...WOW. We
have always had great people take
our calls, quality service, great
products, fair prices....
Mr.
Isham you have created a company
that you can be very proud of. Your
company is diverse and I think that
we have experienced several facets
and can honestly say that your employees
are friendly, sincere and go above
the standards of today's business
industry. These qualities
will allow your company to thrive.
Feel
free to share this with everyone.
Sincerely,
Shawna Ferguson

Michelle,
Last weekend was one of the best clinic
I have attended at the NRS, and this
was my fourth. Krece did a great job
and the breakfast and lunches were
the best ever, the cooks do a great
job. My friend came along for the
ride and could not believe how everyone
got along and the hospitality of the
arena. It shows how good Krece is,
Oscar could not get his rope over
his head without hitting his head
and on Sunday, he was roping and dalling
to the horn. I am going to keep coming
to the clinics as long as I don't
get thrown out or wear my welcome
out. Thanks again for the great weekend
and clinic.

Dear David & Family,
We recently stayed
at your Training Center on our way
to Gallup, New Mexico and wanted to
thank you and your staff for the wonderful
hospitality. You sure have a beautiful
facility. We enjoyed meeting you at
your Western Store and the tour of
the shipping department was a real
treat. This was definitely one of
the highlights of our trip. Many thanks!
Sincerely,
Kim Culligan &

Dear
Mr. Isham,
Last week I attended NRS's inaugural
Horsemanship for Roper's clinic. It
was my first time to rope and my horses.
The learning experience was just
"outstanding". At 56 years
old, I was introduced to a sport which
has
energized my interest to continue
improvement in Horsemanship &
Team Roping.
Krece Harris did an excellent job
of instruction in rider Horsemanship,
mechanics of Roping and Horse training.
I've been in the Automobile Business
for over 34 years attending numerous
seminars and Dealer group meetings
and can't recall any instructor
displaying the true "passion"
for their subject matter like Krece
has. His
entire staff is to be commended.
I plan to attend your Level I roping
clinic in September. Looking forward
to returning to your NRS Training
Center.
Sincerely,
Paul Morris

Hi Michelle,
I enjoyed the heck out of the clinic
that Krece and Justin and the rest
of ya'll hosted. I learned more about
horsemanship than I thought I would...but
I agree that it will make me a better
roper. Thanks so much for all that
ya'll do. The grill at the NRS center
is WONDERFUL! I didn't expect the
food to be that good!
PS...Can you get David to pave the
road and the parking lot?
Thanks again.

Michelle,
Last
weekend clinic, take me to the next
level, was the best one I have been
to, and this was my third on at NRS.
The food this time was GREAT, and
the coupe and Krece wife were really
nice and good great. Krece really
did a great job teaching this clinic
and the students where fun.
Thanks
again for having clinics like this
one.

Dear David,
I
had the opportunity to meed and visit
with you this past weekend, I told
you how much I enjoyed and learned
from Krece and his staff. I was in
a hurry then, I want to take a few
minutes more and reiterate what a
wonderful learning experience your
people provided for all of us. I know
that I speak for the entire level
II class. Personally, I was tired
of being coached from the fence by
someone that maybe had roping skills,
yet without people or teaching skills.
Krece Harris has all three. It was
pleasant experience for all of us.
I
had no idea, I could learn so much
so quick. I can't say enough good
things about your people, Michelle,
Krece, and Wesley. The food was great
and the accommodations were excellent.
I'll be back for future leassons.
Yours
truly,
Gerald

My
wife and I just left your place yesterday
and drove home to Richmond, Tx (SW
of Houston). Most of the 5 hour drive
home conversation centered on your
staff and facilities. We and all of
our show friends loved our weekend.
Your facilities are only topped by
your staff. My wife and I have never
felt so at home on the road.
Thanks to all that were involved and
those who had the vision and wisdom
to build and staff a great facility.

Michele,
I'm enclosing the article that was
in our local paper about Carley. As
you'll read, she wrote in her essay
that her dream is to associate with
the western lifestyle as much as possible.
She is doing that very thing each
Tuesday night when she comes to NRS
to practice, and every Friday night
when she works the chute at the team
ropings. Everyone at NRS is always
so nice to Carley and I completely
trust that it's a wonderful place
for her to spend her time.
Thanks
to David, Ryan, Krece, and Kary...and
everyone else she has met up there,
for all the nice things you do for
Carley. Michele, thanks for always
being so patient with me when I'm
trying to decide which clinic to sign
her up for! You are so flexible and
I appreciate you so much.
Thanks,
Susan
