Tyler Magnus, known by his peers as a premier horseman, is a 9-time NFR qualifier. Tyler believes roping is 90% horsemanship, 10% roping. You might catch, but you’ll never achieve consistency without good horsemanship skills. Many beginners make the mistake of wanting to rope before mastering the fundamentals of riding. During the clinic, Tyler will help you refine your skills with your horse. He will help improve your riding by teaching you the basic horsemanship skills needed to communicate effectively with your horse. This clinic is three days plus an optional bonus day with NRS instructor and events director, Krece Harris. There’s a lot to learn in four days and we want to prepare you for what’s to come.
