On Saturday, February 7, 2009 Sam Garrett, homeowner at the Horseman’s Ranch in Callisburg, Texas, held the first team roping at the NRS Signature Arena, right there in his backyard. One hundred forty-four teams filled the #10 pick/draw and #11 and #13 jackpots. Osmar Vasquez took home the winning saddle.
Horseman’s Ranch is made by horsemen for horsemen. Garrett has called Horseman’s Ranch his home for just over a year. The gated community is ideal for the western lifestyle. There are 500 acres of land with trails and 5-10 acre home lots within walking distance of the NRS Signature Arena.
There are over 10 floor plans for homeowners to choose from. The stalls are a continuation of the homes. Everything is easily accessible and now ropers don’t even have to load up to go to the roping. |
