The Avalanche turnout horse blanket is a great all-around type blanket if you are looking for just one garment for your horse. It is water repellant and durable enough to use either in the horse barn or in the pasture during inclement weather. Cut generously to provide maximum coverage and protection. Outer shell is coated on the underside to provide maximum protection from wet weather. Lined with 200g of fiberfill to keep your horse warm. Nylon inner lining helps prevent chafing and keep your horse’s coat smooth. Shoulder gussets, tail flap, and leg straps with elastic inserts for ultimate comfort and freedom of movement. 2 diagonal surcingle straps under the belly. All straps are sewn into reinforced patches. Open front with buckles and velcro to hold the front flap closed.
