NRS Handmade Genuine Leather Belts!
This belt is handmade right here in the NRS Saddle Shop! This belt is 1 3/4 inches wide with a tapered end for the belt buckle. There is stitching on the edges of the leather to add detail and structure to the design. This leather is hand-tooled pattern and is a medium brown or a chestnut brown color. This belt has two small screws that secure any size buckle! The screws are better than buttons because they will not come undone and your buckle will never move or come off unless you unscrew it from the belt.
The NRS Saddle Shop is where creativity and functionality meet with some of the best saddles in the industry. NRS Saddle makers, Billy and Loy Cogsdil, are experts in creative leather design and they incorporate that into ever saddle, breast collar and belt they make. The custom hand-tooled belts are designed with heritage and cowboy traditions in mind. They are made with the same quality leather that goes into every NRS Pro Series Saddle. The American tanned, American hides from legendary tannery, Hermann Oak, is the top-of-the-line. Each belt takes around two hours from start to finish. Billy starts by cutting out the belts to exactly 1-3/4 inches wide that tapers to 1 -1/2 inches. The edges are sewn for style and reinforcement. The belts are then hand stamped with a Don Carlos border and palm leaf center stamp. Each belt is finished with a light oil and then antiqued. The detailed tooling patterns and special hand-rubbed finish make these belts an authentic and unique work of Western art.
