The moderate “gag” action allows for a soft cue with small hand movement and lift when the mouthpiece reaches the end of its “gag” allowance. Bits are beautifully accented with tri-colored silver filigree and are a 7” shank with a “gag”. A twisted wire mouth has contact with the bars and tongue and gives a more pronounced cue than a smooth barreled bit. The twisted snaffle removes any leverage action that a solid mouthpiece has. They offer a lighter feel for the horse that flexes easily, or has a sensitive roof of mouth area.
