Chippewa Boots developed the Logger boot for the Lumberjacks of the great upper Midwest back in 1901. Today these styles are not only worn by the logging industry but by men that perceive this silhouette to be the ultimate in a rugged outdoor wear. These 8" nubuc steel toe loggers are insulated with 400 Grams of Thinsulate Ultra- a lightweight, breathable, and moisture-resistant insulation. Slightly thicker and loftier than regular Thinsulate. Thinsulate Ultra provides greater warmth and comfort, yes it's still thin enough to allow complete freedom of movement. Lugs on the Vibram Logger sole are angled to provide substantial edging capabilites. The center medallion of traditional carrarmato lugs provides maximum traction.
