Our toughest headstalls, great for colt-starting, are these 1" wide models. They carry a snaffle bit better than any other style headstall because of the wide 1" wide end where the bit attaches. For the same reason they won’t fit most curb bits without cutting down the end so it fits through the ring on your bit.
