This Association tree is a preferance among working ranch cowboys because it features undercut swells that "hook" the legs so that you can start a colt or keep your seat if you are in a jam. Good saddle

This is a good solid ranchin saddle. Day after I received it I rode 10 miles. It was comfortable for me and fit all my horses well. Haven't roped anything off it yet but I am confident it will hold up just fine. The reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is for two reasons. First, it didn't come with the horn wrap like it shows in the picture. Since I had some extra mule hide laying around I threw it on. Second, putting on the wet mule hide caused some of the dye near the base of the horn to come out. Not sure why this happened but it's not the end of the world for me since it's for working not for show.

This is a good solid ranch saddle. Very comfortable for me and fit all my horses well. I can definitely ride in it all day. Would have received 5 stars but there were two issues. First, there was no horn wrap like in the picture. I had to use some mule hide wrap I had laying around. Second, when I put the wet mule hide on, the dye around the base of the horn ran away. Not a deal breaker for me since it's for work not show. I would recommend this saddle if you are looking for a budget ranch roping saddle.
